We are on the lookout for a passionate Environmental Engineer to join our team in Darwin. In this role, you will focus on designing and implementing sustainable solutions to environmental challenges. The right candidate will work on various projects aimed at improving the local ecosystem, engaging with stakeholders, and contributing to environmental assessments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee environmental monitoring programs and data collection efforts.
• Advise on the environmental aspects of development projects.
• Participate in public and stakeholder consultations.
• Conduct scenario analysis for environmental risk assessments.
• Identify and implement innovative technologies for sustainability.
• Facilitate training sessions on environmental stewardship for staff and stakeholders.
• Keep abreast of environmental legislation and best practices.
• Collaborate with international partners on environmental projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Engineering
• Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental engineering or consultancy
