Teaching Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Teaching Assistant to join our team in Launceston. You will support teachers in delivering the curriculum and contribute positively to the classroom environment. The ideal candidate will help in organizing educational activities, assisting with class management, and providing one-on-one support to students as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in preparing lesson materials and resources.
• Support classroom management and promote a positive learning environment.
• Provide individualized support to students as needed.
• Help supervise students during activities and transitions.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teaching staff.
• Engage with students to encourage participation and interest in lessons.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Education or equivalent

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in a teaching assistant role preferred

Languages
