Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pathology Laboratory Technologist to join our Sydney team. The successful candidate will perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures essential for diagnosing and treating medical conditions, while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the laboratory and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Monitor laboratory workflows to maintain efficiency and quality.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior laboratory staff.
• Assist with research studies and clinical trials as required.

Advantageous

• Knowledge of laboratory accreditation processes (e.g. NATA, RCPA): Experience in preparing for and participating in laboratory accreditation audits.
• Experience with training and supervision of laboratory assistants and technicians: Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior staff in laboratory practices.
