Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of registers and cash handling devices.
  • Repair and replace faulty components to ensure proper functionality.
  • Carry out routine maintenance to prevent malfunctions.
  • Test registers for performance accuracy post-repair.
  • Document all maintenance and repairs for future reference.
  • Assist customers with technical issues related to register operation.
  • Stay informed on new register technologies and methods.
  • Follow safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Proactively identify areas for process improvement within repairs.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss findings and strategies.
  • Oversee the ordering and stock management of parts.
  • Coordinate with other departments as needed for repairs.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints related to register issues.
