We are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our passionate team in Townsville. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary medicine, adept at diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues. You will play a crucial role in the health and well-being of animals, engaging with pet owners, and providing medical care, surgical expertise, and preventative advice.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate animal health and provide timely treatment.
  • Engage in surgical and non-surgical procedures with accuracy.
  • Build lasting relationships with clients through exceptional care.
  • Facilitate internal meetings to discuss case strategies and medical practices.
  • Conduct research and contribute to veterinary publications, enhancing clinical knowledge.
  • Assure that clinic hygiene and health standards are met and maintained.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to junior veterinarians and interns.

Requirements

Education
  • Qualified Veterinarian with current registration
  • Specialisation in certain fields such as surgery or dermatology preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of clinical experience in veterinary settings
