Neon Technician

Job Description

As a Neon Technician, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining neon signs and lighting displays, ensuring they meet safety standards and client specifications. You will work closely with our design and installation teams.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble neon signs while adhering to project schedules.
• Conduct safety inspections of neon installations.
• Assist in training junior technicians and apprentices.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates and challenges.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timelines are met.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or relevant vocational qualifications
• Additional certification in neon tube bending and fabrication is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in neon sign fabrication and installation

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of electrical systems and circuits
• Experience with neon tube bending and fabrication
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail
• Effective communication skills
• Problem-solving abilities

Certifications

• Current electrical license

Languages

• English: Fluent
