Job Description

As a Logging Worker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of rail operations. Responsible for connecting and disconnecting train cars, you will need to ensure that couplers are in good condition and comply with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Attach and detach railway cars according to procedure.
• Perform maintenance checks on couplers to ensure functionality.
• Engage in effective communication with the railway operations team.
• Follow all safety guidelines to minimize hazards during operations.
• Document maintenance and inspection activities accurately.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience working in a railway environment preferred

Technical Skills

• Basic mechanical knowledge
• Heavy machinery operation skills

Certifications

• Certification in Railway Maintenance or related field
• First Aid and CPR certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
