Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, developing budgets, forecasting revenue, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes. You will work closely with various departments to assess financial performance and identify areas for improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements to assess performance metrics.
  • Support the budgeting process by providing financial insights and historical data.
  • Collaborate with operations to identify cost-saving initiatives.
  • Conduct variance analyses between budget and actuals.
  • Develop financial models to assess profitability of projects.
  • Review financial forecasts ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Engage with auditors to ensure compliance and transparency.
  • Present findings and recommendations to management teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes.
  • Compile data for regulatory reports and compliance documentation.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's in Business Administration or Economics
  • Relevant certifications are a plus

  • 5+ years of experience in a finance role or relevant analytical position
