You will empower students by cultivating their skills in set design, lighting, sound production, and prop management, nurturing the next generation of theatre professionals.
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative lesson plans that promote creative expression among students.
- Facilitate teamwork and collaboration during stage production projects.
- Encourage student participation in stagecraft competitions and showcases.
- Create assessments and evaluations to measure student progress in stagecraft skills.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards in all practical activities.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Theatre or Performing Arts
- Advanced teaching qualification is advantageous.
Experience
- Experience teaching stagecraft at secondary or tertiary levels preferred.
