Cybersecurity Exploitation Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Exploitation Analyst to identify, exploit, and remediate vulnerabilities within complex information systems. You will collaborate closely with our cybersecurity team to implement effective strategies to safeguard our clients’ data and assets.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems.
• Work with the cybersecurity team to prioritize remediation efforts based on risk assessments.
• Maintain effective documentation of vulnerability findings and security assessments.
• Engage with other IT staff to enhance security awareness across the organization.
• Implement security best practices in software development and deployment.
• Participate in cybersecurity drills and exercises to simulate potential threats.
• Research new cybersecurity trends and advise on potential improvements.
• Assist in compliance audits related to cybersecurity requirements.
• Support clients in understanding security risks and mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years in cybersecurity roles with a focus on exploitation and remediation techniques.

• Metasploit
• PowerShell

• GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN)

Languages
