Job Description

As an Atmospheric and Space Scientist, you will immerse yourself in climate research and analysis, focusing on weather patterns and climate systems. Your role will involve the use of advanced technology and methodologies to gather data that directly impacts environmental policies and conservation efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Study atmospheric composition and its effects on weather-related events.
  • Create and maintain databases for tracking climate data over time.
  • Participate in field studies to understand regional environmental effects.
  • Engage in workshops and seminars to present findings and foster collaboration.
  • Assess current climate policies and their effectiveness in mitigating climate change.
  • Provide technical support in deploying climate monitoring instruments.
  • Explore renewable energy sources and their impact on climate change.
  • Foster community awareness programs and promote local engagement.
  • Mentor junior scientists and interns in research methodologies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field
  • Master's degree in a related discipline is highly desirable
Experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in climatology or environmental research.
