Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction and Building Inspector to ensure all projects meet compliance and quality standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting construction sites and buildings, maintaining safety protocols, and reporting any issues.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction projects at various stages to ensure quality and compliance.
• Review and provide feedback on architectural and engineering plans.
• Monitor safety practices and provide guidance to project teams.
• Assist in the development of compliance policies and procedures.
• Provide education and training on code compliance and safety practices.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Construction or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in building inspection or construction

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of building codes
• Report writing

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Building Inspection Certification
• Occupational Health and Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with quality control tools and techniques: Familiarity with software tools for quality assurance and inspections.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles: Understanding of efficiency and waste reduction principles.
