As a Visitor Services Technician, you will serve as the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and providing essential information about the venue. Your dedication to excellent customer service will enhance the visitor experience, making their time with us enjoyable and memorable. You will be responsible for ticketing, crowd management, and maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to all visitors.
• Ensure all visitor areas are clean and well-maintained.
• Handle ticket sales and manage the cash register.
• Guide visitors through the venue, providing information and answering questions.
• Assist in organizing and monitoring events or special programs.
• Report any safety or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Collect feedback from visitors and help improve services.
• Provide training and support for new staff members.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Tourism or Hospitality

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in visitor services or hospitality

Technical Skills

• Audio-visual Equipment

Soft Skills

• Time Management

Certifications

• First Aid and CPR certification
• Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a tourism or hospitality venue: Previous work experience in tourist attractions or hospitality settings.
• Additional language skills: Ability to speak a second language can be advantageous.
