Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Woodworking Machine Setter to operate and maintain wood turning machinery. This role involves interpreting blueprints, setting up machines, and ensuring the production of high-quality wooden products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare wood for turning by selecting appropriate types.
• Monitor machine settings and output throughout the production process.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance productivity.
• Ensure all products meet our high-quality standards.
• Assist in inventory control and material management.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Wood Machining or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Artistic Skills: Experience in wood carving and/or sculpting is advantageous.
