Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a Loom Blower! You will operate and monitor loom machines, participate in maintenance activities, and work collaboratively to meet production targets in our Melbourne facility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor loom operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Report any operational issues to the Production Manager promptly.
• Train and mentor new team members on loom operations and safety.
• Ensure all equipment is regularly inspected and maintained.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and improvements.
• Keep workstations clean and organized following 5S principles.

Requirements

Education

• No formal education required, but a diploma in textile manufacturing is advantageous.

Experience

• Prior experience in a similar role preferred but not essential. Willingness to learn and adapt to the specific loom machinery used in our facility.

Advantageous

• Experience with specific loom brands/models: Knowledge in operating and troubleshooting various loom models.
