Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate switchmen activities to ensure the efficient and safe operation of trains.
• Develop and manage work schedules and assign duties to team members.
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide ongoing training and mentorship to switchmen.
• Conduct performance evaluations and deliver constructive feedback.
• Resolve operational issues or conflicts that arise in the workplace.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to optimize train movements.
• Prepare reports and maintain detailed records of switchmen activities.
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of switching equipment.

Advantageous

• Supervisory Experience: Previous supervisory experience within railway operations is highly advantageous.
• Certification in Railway Operations: Relevant certifications in railway operations or switchyard management are preferred.
