Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Marine Engineer to join our dynamic team in Sydney. As a Marine Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining marine vessels and equipment. You will play a vital role in ensuring the operational efficiency and safety of marine systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design phase of marine projects, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Evaluate and select appropriate materials and technologies for marine systems.
• Facilitate communication between engineering teams and external stakeholders.
• Support the development and implementation of testing protocols for new vessels.
• Review and enhance existing marine systems for improved performance.
• Actively participate in risk assessment and mitigation processes.
• Coordinate with project managers to align engineering deliverables with client specifications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in marine engineering or related field.

Technical Skills

• Analytical Engineering Methods
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Certifications

• Certified Marine Engineer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Project Management Certification: Certification in project management methodologies is preferred.
