Join our Melbourne team as a Woodworking Machine Setter. You'll be responsible for operating woodworking machines, monitoring production quality, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. Our ideal candidate will have experience in woodworking and machinery and a commitment to teamwork and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot woodworking machines efficiently.
• Ensure finished products meet quality standards through careful inspections.
• Keep work areas organized and adhere to safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with the production team and supervisors.
• Document production data accurately for reporting purposes.
• Perform maintenance checks and assist in repairing equipment when necessary.
• Assist in onboarding and training processes for new team members.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in woodworking or machinery operation is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

• Machine troubleshooting
• Production monitoring

Soft Skills

• Effective communication
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CAD software: Familiarity with CAD software is a plus for reading designs.
• Advanced woodworking skills: A background in advanced woodworking techniques is advantageous.
