Job Description

The Land Reclamation Specialist will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing land reclamation projects aimed at restoring degraded land. Candidates should have robust knowledge of environmental science and civil engineering principles, along with project management expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement land restoration plans that ensure ecological balance.
• Evaluate environmental risks associated with reclamation projects and devise mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate engineering, environmental science, and community perspectives.
• Prepare and submit detailed environmental assessments and regulatory documents.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to foster trust and cooperation.
• Monitor project progress and adapt strategies as necessary to meet changing circumstances.
• Deliver educational workshops to community members on land reclamation practices.
• Research advancements in soil science and remediation techniques to enhance project effectiveness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in relevant field is an advantage

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in land reclamation, civil engineering, or environmental management
