Job Description

The Tower Operator is crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of telecommunications towers. This role combines technical expertise, strong communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operation of telecommunications towers and associated equipment.
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
  • Document maintenance and operational procedures accurately.
  • Interact with remote monitoring tools to track tower performance.
  • Ensure readiness for emergency situations by conducting drills.
  • Report any hazards or incidents to management immediately.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate II or III in Telecommunications or equivalent
  • Current driver's license
Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
Technical Skills
  • Understanding of telecommunications systems
  • Remote monitoring skills

Certifications
  • White card or equivalent
Languages
  • English: Fluent
