Job Description

We are seeking skilled Textile, Apparel, and Furnishings Workers to join our Melbourne facility. The ideal candidates should have experience in operating machinery, quality control, and finishing processes to ensure that our products meet high standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate textile production equipment.
• Conduct inspections to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform routine maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production targets.
• Document production activities and inventory adjustments.
• Participate in safety drills and adhere to workplace safety standards.
• Assist in training new employees on equipment operation and safety.
• Manage waste and recyclables to reduce environmental impact.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Manufacturing Textile Fabrication
• Relevant trade qualifications are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in textile production or apparel manufacturing

Technical Skills

• Expertise in fabric types and properties
• Advanced sewing techniques

Soft Skills

• Communication skills
• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent
