Machine Feeders and Offbearers

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Machine Feeder and Offbearer to join our dynamic team in a manufacturing environment. This role involves operating the dynamite packing machine and ensuring efficient production processes while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Control the dynamite packaging machine and ensure its efficient operation.
• Feed raw materials into the machine while maintaining quality control.
• Conduct inspections on packed dynamite and troubleshoot any machinery problems.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Organize and maintain inventory of packing materials and supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
• Document and report production data and any discrepancies to supervisors.
• Assist in the training of new staff on machinery operation and safety measures.

Advantageous

• Experience with safety regulations: Understanding of workplace safety regulations in manufacturing.
• Basic mechanical skills: Ability to perform minor maintenance and repairs on machinery.
