As an Insurance Fraud Investigator, you will be integral to our team, responsible for conducting detailed investigations into potentially fraudulent insurance claims. Your role entails gathering evidence, interviewing relevant parties, and working closely with law enforcement to uphold the integrity of our service. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough investigations into suspected fraudulent insurance claims, including collecting evidence and documenting findings.
  • Interview claimants, witnesses, and other involved parties to gather necessary information.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and legal professionals to ensure appropriate actions are taken.
  • Prepare detailed investigative reports to assist in claim decisions and potential legal actions.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations, trends, and best practices related to insurance fraud investigation.
  • Utilize case management software to track investigations and maintain accurate records.
  • Train and mentor junior investigators on best practices.
  • Present findings to management and recommend actions based on evidence gathered.
  • Participate in fraud prevention initiatives and strategy development.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information throughout the investigation process.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or related field
  • Certification in Fraud Examination or related certification is preferred
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in fraud investigation or a related field.
