We are seeking a Public Health Officer to join our dynamic team in Coffs Harbour. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing public health initiatives, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and collaborating with community stakeholders to promote health education.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute strategic health campaigns in the community.
• Conduct epidemiological investigations to understand health trends.
• Coordinate with government agencies for health program funding and resources.
• Maintain accurate records of health programs and evaluations.
• Advocate for policy changes to promote public health objectives.
• Collaborate with schools and local businesses to implement health programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or a related discipline
• Master's in Public Health (MPH) is a significant advantage

Experience

• 3+ years in a public health setting or similar role
