Job Description

As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our orthodontists during patient consultations, examinations, and various procedures. Your day-to-day activities will include preparing dental instruments, taking X-rays, and assisting patients with their orthodontic needs. Responsibilities

• Assist during initial patient assessments and consultations.
• Prepare and manage dental instruments and equipment effectively.
• Take, develop, and interpret dental X-rays and images.
• Guide patients in proper oral hygiene practices related to orthodontic care.
• Perform routine orthodontic procedures under supervision.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring a smooth flow.
• Ensure treatment areas are clean and adhere to infection control guidelines.
• Support the orthodontic team with supply management and ordering.
• Help create a welcoming and positive atmosphere for patients.
• Address patient inquiries and concerns professionally and empathetically.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate in Dental Assisting or relevant qualification

Experience

• Experience in an orthodontic practice is advantageous.

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
