Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Irrigation District Manager to lead our team in maintaining and enhancing irrigation operations. Your role will involve managing relationships with stakeholders and ensuring effective water management practices.
Responsibilities
Lead the daily operations of the irrigation district.
Establish and maintain compliance with water management regulations.
Train staff on best practices in irrigation management.
Collaborate with other departments to optimise water resource use.
Respond to irrigation-related issues in a timely manner.
Develop strategies for stakeholder engagement and communication.
Evaluate and implement new technologies in irrigation systems.
Prepare and deliver presentations on irrigation management to stakeholders.
Requirements
Education
Master's degree in a related field preferred
Experience
Experience in budgeting and financial management is advantageous.
