Quality Assurance Tester

Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Tester to join our dynamic team in Perth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software through rigorous testing. You will work closely with developers and product managers to define test plans, identify bugs, and validate features.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on functional requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects in a detailed manner.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure high-quality software releases.
• Perform regression testing to ensure previous functionalities remain intact.
• Maintain testing documentation and provide updates during sprint sessions.
• Participate in code reviews and provide input on testing strategies.
• Assist in the training of junior QA staff as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Relevant testing certifications are a plus.

Experience

• 3+ years in QA testing with a focus on web applications

Certifications

• Certified Agile Tester

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Test Management Tools: Familiarity with tools such as JIRA or QTest.
