Wire Border Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Wire Border Assembler to join our team in Sydney, responsible for creating wire borders for various products. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and have experience in using wire bending machinery.

Responsibilities

• Read technical drawings and specifications to assemble wire borders.
• Measure and cut wire accurately using specified tools.
• Use wire bending machines to fabricate products.
• Conduct quality checks on wire borders before final approval.
• Log production activities and report any discrepancies.
• Work alongside colleagues to achieve daily production goals.
• Adhere to workplace safety protocols at all times.
• Identify areas for process improvement and suggest solutions.
• Keep tools and machinery in good working order.
• Participate in team meetings and training workshops.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• Trade qualification is a plus.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in wire assembly or manufacturing.
