Quality Control Technician (QC Technician)

Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Control Technician (QC Technician) to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests, inspections, and maintaining compliance throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections of raw materials, packaging, and finished products.
• Analyze test results and communicate findings to management.
• Identify non-conformities and initiate corrective actions promptly.
• Assist in developing new quality control processes as needed.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all quality control activities.
• Foster a culture of quality by providing training and support to staff.
• Utilize quality control software to track and report compliance metrics.
• Participate in cross-departmental teams focused on continuous improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Tertiary qualifications in Food Science or a related field are preferred

Experience

• Previous experience in the food manufacturing industry is preferred

Languages
