Job Description

As a Chemical Equipment Operator at Leading Chemical Manufacturing Co., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe operation of chemical equipment. You will operate and monitor acid extraction processes, guaranteeing that all safety protocols are adhered to while contributing to the efficient production of high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate chemical equipment used in acid extraction processes.
• Maintain accurate logs of equipment performance and incident reports.
• Ensure adherence to environmental and safety regulations.
• Monitor process parameters and adjust equipment settings as needed.
• Assist in the development of standard operating procedures and safety manuals.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff for scheduled repairs.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss operational issues and improvements.
• Help in quality assurance testing to verify product specifications.
• Identify training needs for the team to improve operational effectiveness.
• Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in chemical safety practices is highly regarded

Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a chemical processing environment.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in using chemical analysis software
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration

Certifications

• Forklift Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
