Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Tap Dancer to enhance our creative team! You will be responsible for performing breathtaking tap dance routines in various productions, rehearsing regularly, and collaborating with fellow artists to create unique performances.

Responsibilities

• Perform tap dance routines in various shows and productions
• Collaborate with other dancers and choreographers to create unique performances
• Rehearse regularly to maintain and improve dance skills
• Follow directions and choreography provided by the artistic director
• Participate in auditions and casting processes
• Contribute creative ideas to enhance dance routines
• Maintain physical fitness and flexibility required for tap dancing
• Attend dance workshops and classes to further develop skills
• Adhere to safety guidelines during performances
• Engage with the community through outreach programs

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Formal training in tap dancing

Experience

• Prior experience as a Tap Dancer in professional dance productions or performances is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in tap dance techniques and routines
• Strong sense of rhythm and musicality

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration
• Creativity

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in other dance styles, such as ballet or jazz: Ability to perform and integrate multiple dance styles.
• Ability to sing or act: Enhances performance versatility.
