Job Description

The Health Information Provider role is pivotal in managing and organising patient records to enhance service delivery. You will ensure that all information is accurate and handled confidentially while supporting patients and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the training of new staff on health information protocols.
  • Gather feedback for processes to improve systems.
  • Help draft policies regarding health information management.
  • Support the implementation of new technologies.
  • Coordinate with external agencies for patient information requests.
  • Facilitate workshops on patient data privacy for staff.
  • Review and recommend improvements for record-keeping processes.
  • Contribute to departmental success through innovative solutions.
  • Staying abreast of industry changes and best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Health Information Management or related field
  • Postgraduate qualifications are an advantage
Experience
  • At least 2 years experience in health administration.
