Job Description

As a Community and Social Service Specialist at Sister Hospitality, you will work directly with individuals and families to provide support and resources tailored to their unique needs. This role involves assessment, planning, and implementing supportive services designed to enhance the well-being of our community members.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and resolve barriers that clients face in accessing care.
  • Facilitate community outreach programs to raise awareness of services.
  • Engage in advocacy efforts to promote social justice and equity.
  • Provide training to volunteers on effective client support practices.
  • Utilise technology to manage client information and service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
  • Develop educational materials to inform the community of available services.
  • Participate in research initiatives to improve service delivery models.
  • Report on service outcomes and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
  • Master's degree in Social Work or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in community services or social support roles
