Job Description

As an Audiometrist, you'll play a crucial role in assessing patients' hearing ability and providing tailored treatment plans. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to hearing health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough hearing evaluations and interpret results accurately.
• Develop and implement effective treatment and rehabilitation plans.
• Provide ongoing support and follow-up for patients with hearing aids.
• Maintain and prepare audiological equipment for testing.
• Document patient interactions and clinical outcomes meticulously.
• Educate patients and their families on hearing health practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic patient care.
• Participate in training programs and workshops for skill enhancement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Audiology or a related field
• AHPRA registration

Experience

• At least 2 years in a clinical audiology setting.

Certifications

• Valid competency certificate in audiometry

Languages
