Job Description
We are seeking a passionate Sunday School Teacher who will be instrumental in leading and educating children in our church’s religious education program. This role is vital in providing a nurturing environment where spiritual growth can flourish.
Responsibilities
Deliver age-appropriate Bible lessons that cater to children's understanding.
Plan and coordinate engaging religious activities for all age groups.
Encourage children's participation and enthusiasm in learning about Christian values.
Work alongside other teachers to enhance the overall Sunday School experience.
Create an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and beliefs.
Evaluate the effectiveness of teaching methods and adapt to meet children’s needs.
Engage in community outreach to increase involvement in the Sunday School program.
Actively pursue professional development opportunities in religious education.
Ensure compliance with safety and child protection standards.
Lead group discussions that allow children to share their thoughts and beliefs.
Requirements
Education
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or relevant qualification
Additional qualifications in special education or child psychology are advantageous.
Experience
Experience working with children with special needs preferred.
