Responsibilities

• Work alongside pharmacists to prepare medications accurately.
• Handle inventory control and restock medications as needed.
• Ensure medications are labeled correctly prior to delivery.
• Comply with all safety and health regulations.
• Assist in creating and organizing medication records.
• Maintain excellent communication within the pharmacy team.
• Participate in training for new software and pharmacy practices.
• Monitor and report discrepancies in medication orders.
• Assist in maintaining standards of cleanliness in the pharmacy.
• Support pharmacy initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of a recognized Pharmacy Technician program
• Current registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia

Experience

• Minimum 2 years as a Pharmacy Technician in a clinical environment
