Job Description

As an Anesthesiologist Assistant, you will work closely with anesthesiologists to provide anesthesia care to patients during surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include preparing and administering anesthesia, managing patients’ airways, and monitoring vital signs. We are looking for someone with a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for anesthesia and provide pre-operative education.
  • Administer general and regional anesthesia under anesthesiologist supervision.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during surgical procedures.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' post-anesthesia recovery.
  • Maintain detailed records of anesthesia administration and patient responses.
  • Stay updated with advancements in anesthesia techniques and best practices.
  • Perform routine checks on anesthesia supplies and equipment functionality.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to discussions about patient safety.
  • Assist in mentoring and training junior staff in anesthesia techniques.
  • Engage in research and development projects to enhance anesthesia practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Allied Health Science
  • Post-graduate degree in Anesthesiology or related field is preferred
Experience
  • Experience in a hospital or surgical center setting
