Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in Perth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacology and excellent communication skills. Your primary responsibilities will include dispensing medications, advising patients on drug interactions, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess medication therapy in collaboration with healthcare providers.
• Conduct medication therapy management sessions.
• Respond to inquiries about prescriptions and over-the-counter medications.
• Participate in the development of patient education materials.
• Assist in the implementation of pharmacy policies.
• Engage in continuous professional development.
• Support marketing efforts to promote pharmacy services.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• PharmD is strongly preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in community pharmacy

• Medication Management
• Clinical Pharmacy

Certifications

• Pharmacy Board Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Special training in diabetes management: Training in managing diabetes and patient education.
