Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide patient-focused care in Port Macquarie. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients while collaborating with healthcare professionals to promote wellness.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individual care plans.
• Implement nursing interventions and provide bedside care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and preventative care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals on patient care strategies.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of nursing activities.
• Manage emergency situations and respond promptly to patient crises.
• Participate in professional development and continuous education activities.
• Actively contribute to team meetings and case discussions.
• Conduct health assessments and coordinate referrals to specialty services.
• Support the emotional and psychological needs of patients and families.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in acute care or specialty nursing is preferred.

Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Emergency Care Settings: Hands-on experience working in emergency departments or urgent care.
• Knowledge of Pain Management Techniques: Familiarity with pain management strategies and practices.
