Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Seat Upholsterer to join our team and participate in the production and maintenance of aircraft interiors. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying and installing aircraft upholstery, creating and sewing seat covers, and performing repairs and maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Remove damaged aircraft seat covers and components.
  • Ensure compliance with aviation safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with Interior Designers and other technicians.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in optimal working condition.
  • Document repair and maintenance activities.
  • Provide feedback for improving upholstery processes.
  • Support training for new team members as required.
  • Manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines.
  • Participate in health and safety training.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate materials for upholstery.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Further qualifications in upholstery or trade certification preferred
Experience
  • Familiarity with aviation industry standards and regulations is an advantage
Technical Skills
  • Proficient with industrial sewing machines
  • Ability to work with various upholstery materials
Soft Skills

Languages
  • English: Fluent
