Job Description

An Airbus Captain is responsible for safely operating an Airbus aircraft and ensuring the safety of all passengers and crew on board. The role involves maintaining communication with ground control and effectively navigating the aircraft to its destination.

Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough pre-flight checks and inspections.
• Managing navigational systems and flight management systems (FMS).
• Overseeing in-flight operations and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Communicating effectively with air traffic control.
• Handling the deployment of emergency procedures when necessary.
• Evaluating the performance of co-pilots and other flight crew members.
• Reporting any incidents or irregularities during flights.
• Participating in ongoing training and professional development.
• Contributing to team debriefing sessions after flights.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in aviation or related field

Experience

• Experience in a supervisory role is advantageous
