Job Description

As a Film and Video Editor, you will be an integral part of our production team, responsible for editing raw footage into engaging stories. You will collaborate closely with producers and directors, ensuring that the final product meets the creative vision of the project.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source key scenes during the editing process.
• Finalise edits and ensure the video meets quality standards.
• Work closely with sound and visual effects teams to integrate audio tracks effectively.
• Participate in team brainstorming sessions for creative direction.
• Deliver high-quality content within tight deadlines.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Film, Media, or a related field
• Post-graduate qualifications in Video Editing are beneficial

Experience

• At least 3 years of professional editing experience

Technical Skills

• Sound Editing Software
• Color Correction Software

Soft Skills

• Storytelling Techniques
• Creative Problem Solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience working on feature-length films: Experience in long-form video production is a plus.
• Familiarity with AR/VR content production: Understanding of editing for augmented or virtual reality projects.
