Job Description

We're looking for enthusiastic Bus Drivers who are committed to providing exceptional service on our public transit routes. Your role will involve operating the bus, assisting passengers, and ensuring adherence to traffic regulations, all while promoting a positive travel experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers while following scheduled routes.
• Communicate effectively with passengers and team members.
• Perform routine inspections of the bus and report maintenance needs.
• Handle passenger queries and provide assistance as required.
• Ensure that the bus remains on schedule and meets all arrival and departure times.
• Engage with passengers positively to enhance their travel experience.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of a bus driver training program
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience as a bus driver, preferably in a public transit system

• Driving Skills

• Problem-solving Skills

Certifications

• Current and valid driver's license
• First Aid Certification
• Criminal Record Check

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with passengers with disabilities: Previous experience assisting passengers with special needs.
• Knowledge of local areas and landmarks.: Familiarity with the city layout and significant locations.
