Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Hydrologist / Volcanologist. In this role, you will study and monitor volcanic behaviors, conduct field investigations, and disseminate your findings, fostering a deeper understanding of geological hazards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform field studies to gather data on volcanic activity and geohazards.
  • Interpret scientific data and present findings to stakeholders and clients.
  • Write and publish research papers on volcanic activity and hazard assessments.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of geoscientists to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Engage in community outreach and education regarding volcanic risks.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations for conferences and meetings.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related field
  • PhD preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in geological or hydrological studies
