Core-Drill Operator Helper

Job Description

As a Core-Drill Operator Helper, you'll assist in the process of drilling rock and soil samples, working closely with the Core-Drill Operator to ensure efficient operations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and operation of core drills.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations during work.
• Support drilling team in achieving daily targets.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certificate in Mining or Geology is a plus

Experience

• Experience in physically demanding jobs and/or the mining industry preferred.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of geological formations
• Drilling equipment familiarity

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Adaptability

Certifications

• White Card (Construction Induction Card)
• Valid driver's license

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Ability to operate heavy machinery: Experience in safely operating heavy machinery on-site.
