Job Description

As a Yacht Master, you'll take charge of our luxury vessels, ensuring every aspect of the journey is safe and enjoyable. From navigation to guest services, your expertise will enhance our clients' experiences as they explore stunning locations around Australia.

Responsibilities

• Lead the crew in efficient operation of the yacht during charters.
• Account for all onboard supplies and report on inventory status.
• Conduct guest welcome and safety briefings.
• Oversee all aspects of yacht operation and guest experiences.
• Implement continuous improvement practices based on guest feedback.
• Engage in proactive communication with clients pre and during charters.
• Facilitate onboard activities and excursions.
• Monitor crew performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Control the yacht's budget and manage operational costs.
• Ensure that service standards are consistently met.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional maritime certifications preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant marine experience

Technical Skills

• Maintenance Knowledge

Advantageous

• Experience navigating and piloting in a variety of conditions: Exposure to diverse nautical and maritime conditions.
