Job Description

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing apartment buildings to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for tenants. You will perform a variety of tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC maintenance, while working collaboratively with property management.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks on apartments and communal areas, focusing on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Respond swiftly to repair requests and emergencies to ensure tenant satisfaction.
• Track and manage maintenance and repair work efficiently.
• Prepare apartments for new tenants by performing necessary maintenance and cleaning tasks.
• Adhere to safety regulations and building codes during all maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with property management and contractors for larger repair projects.
• Maintain an organized inventory of tools and supplies.
• Conduct regular property inspections and report any issues to management.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certifications in trades such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC

Experience

• 2+ years in building maintenance or property management.
