Join our Wildlife Adventure Park team as an Animal Ride Attendant! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our animal riders. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for wildlife, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the operation of animal rides and exhibits.
• Ensure the well-being and safety of animals and guests.
• Provide informative and entertaining tour commentary.
• Clean and maintain animal enclosures and equipment.
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns in a courteous manner.
• Contribute to the development of educational programs.
• Handle and feed animals according to established protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of animal health and behaviour.
• Work collaboratively with various teams within the park.
• Attend regular team meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Australian senior secondary school certificate or equivalent
• Certificate II in Animal Studies or equivalent

Experience

• Experience working with children is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Customer service
• Animal behaviour understanding

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Adaptability

Certifications

• First aid and CPR certification
• Experience with children or willingness to obtain a qualification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Animal behaviour training: Any training or experience in animal behaviour management is advantageous.
