DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a proactive DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Adelaide. The successful candidate will be instrumental in improving our deployment processes and managing cloud environments effectively.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines to accelerate product delivery.
• Automate deployment processes for maximum efficiency.
• Work with development and QA teams to enforce best practices in deployment.
• Manage cloud infrastructure including backups and disaster recovery.
• Monitor system performance and propose enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with best security practices in cloud environments.
• Quickly diagnose and resolve any issues impacting system uptime.
• Support the growth of junior staff through hands-on training.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role

Technical Skills

• AWS
• Docker
• Kubernetes
• Terraform

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Team collaboration

Certifications

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CI/CD tools: Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI for continuous integration and deployment.
• Scripting skills: Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation tasks.
