Job Description

We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Hobart. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the planning, design, and implementation of various civil engineering projects. You will collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure project success, adhering to local regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and design civil engineering projects including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
  • Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure adherence to design specifications.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders during the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare engineering reports, specifications, and presentations for clients.
  • Utilise engineering software tools to produce accurate models and designs.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications are a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in civil engineering and project delivery
